Worthy of You | LN4
❄️ summary ━━━━━━━ Lando rented a cabin in France for Christmas but couldn’t enjoy it when Y/N suddenly left. Desperate, he flew back to England, where she admitted overhearing his doubts about being worthy of her. Lando confessed his love, and Y/N revealed she felt the same but feared rejection.
❄️ pairing ━━━━━━━ Lando Norris x she!reader
❄️ word count ━━━━━━━ 4k
The cabin was nothing short of breathtaking. Nestled in the heart of the French Alps, it seemed straight out of a holiday movie—a sprawling chalet with rustic charm. The exterior was draped in a blanket of snow, the wooden beams of the house warmly contrasting the wintery landscape. Snow-dusted balconies framed sweeping views of the towering peaks outside, their jagged lines stark against the pale sky. Inside, the atmosphere was nothing less than luxurious: vaulted ceilings with exposed timber, a massive stone fireplace crackling with warmth, and furniture covered in soft faux fur throws. Twinkling fairy lights danced around the banisters, casting a soft glow, while the scent of fresh pine from the enormous Christmas tree filled the air, welcoming everyone into its festive embrace.
Lando had rented the cabin for the week leading up to Christmas, hoping to host a cozy retreat for his closest friends. It was supposed to be the perfect escape—a time to unwind, relax, and create new memories. But as he stood in the living room, with the warmth of the fire behind him and an unshakable emptiness in his chest, he felt anything but at ease.
Pacing back and forth, phone in hand, Lando’s jaw was tight with frustration. Y/N had left earlier that day, telling him that she needed to return to London for some "urgent" matter. The words didn’t sit right with him. Something was off, and he couldn’t quite shake the nagging feeling that she was hiding the real reason.
"She just... left," he muttered under his breath, running a hand through his messy curls.
"You’re going to wear a hole in the floor," Max commented from the couch, watching Lando with an amused, yet concerned, expression.
Lando didn’t respond, his eyes glued to his phone. He had already called Y/N three times and sent two messages, all without any reply. Max raised an eyebrow, leaning against the kitchen counter with a beer in hand.
"Still no word from her?" Max asked.
Lando shook his head, glancing at the phone in his hand as if it might magically ring with her name. "No. Nothing. She just said she had to leave and that was it."
Max frowned, clearly puzzled. "That doesn’t sound like her."
"Exactly," Lando agreed, frustration lacing his voice. "She was fine this morning—excited, helping decorate the tree and everything. Then out of nowhere, she says she has to go. It’s like she couldn’t wait to leave." He tossed his phone onto the coffee table with a huff, running a hand through his curls again.
Max shrugged, his expression neutral. "Maybe you should wait until she gets back to you instead of spiraling. She’s probably just busy."
But Lando wasn’t convinced. "I can’t wait. Something’s wrong. She looked at me before she left—like there was something she wanted to say but couldn’t. It’s not like her to just leave like that."
Max raised a brow, offering a pointed look. "You sure you didn’t say or do something to upset her?"
Lando scowled, shaking his head. "I didn’t even get a chance to talk to her. One minute everything’s fine, and the next... she’s gone."
Max didn’t press further. Instead, he simply sighed. "Well, maybe give her space. She’ll reach out when she’s ready."
But Lando couldn’t do that. He needed answers now. Without another word, he slipped out of the kitchen and onto the balcony, the chill of the evening air biting at his skin despite his thick coat. Leaning against the railing, he gazed out at the snow-covered mountains, his mind racing with unanswered questions. Y/N had been acting strange lately—distant, quieter than usual. The sudden departure was the final straw. Something didn’t add up.
Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away, Y/N sat alone in her London flat, the flickering lights from her modest Christmas tree casting a soft, warm glow in the otherwise quiet room. Outside, the city streets were slick with rain, the muted sounds of traffic filling the silence. Her fingers curled around a steaming mug of tea, but she barely noticed the warmth.
Her phone sat on the coffee table, buzzing intermittently with Lando’s name lighting up the screen. Each time, her heart clenched, and each time, she couldn’t bring herself to pick it up.
She sipped her tea, trying to quiet the storm in her mind, but the memory of that morning wouldn’t leave her. She had been standing in the hallway of the cabin, a box of ornaments in her arms, when she overheard Lando and Max talking in the living room. The words they spoke felt like a punch to her gut.
"I don’t know what to do, mate," Lando’s voice was low, tense.
"What are you talking about?" Max had asked, clearly confused.
"It’s Y/N," Lando admitted, and hearing her name made Y/N freeze, her breath catching in her throat.
"What about her?"
Lando sighed deeply, and Y/N could almost hear the weight of his thoughts. "I care about her more than I should. More than I’ve ever cared about anyone. But I can’t tell her. She’d probably just laugh in my face or—worse—pity me."
Y/N’s heart twisted painfully in her chest.
"You really think she’d react like that?" Max asked, his voice skeptical.
‘’Wouldn’t you?" Lando responded bitterly. "She's amazing, Max. She deserves someone who's not... me. Someone who doesn’t come with all the problems of my life. I don’t know... it’s just complicated.’’
Y/N couldn’t bear it anymore. Hearing Lando doubt himself, and by extension, their connection, had hurt her more than she could explain. She dropped the box of ornaments where it stood and rushed to her room to pack her things, not bothering to tell anyone why she was leaving.
Now, in the solitude of her flat, Y/N replayed his words over and over, trying to make sense of her own emotions. Did she love him? She realized that the answer had been in her heart for months, but she’d been too afraid to face it.
Her phone buzzed again, pulling her from her thoughts. Lando’s name flashed across the screen once more. This time, her thumb hovered over the screen, hesitating before she tapped it.
She read his message: Please, Y/N. Just let me know you’re okay.
Her heart ached as the words weighed heavily on her. She typed a reply but paused, her fingers trembling. After a deep breath, she hit send:
Y/N: I’m fine. I just needed some time to think.
On the other end, Lando’s phone buzzed once more, and he lunged for it, his heart leaping when he saw her name appear.
"She responded," he said quietly to Max, who gave him an encouraging nod.
Lando opened the message and read it quickly, his brow furrowing with confusion. "She’s fine?" he muttered, feeling unconvinced by her words.
Max leaned over to glance at the screen. "Sounds like she just needs some space."
But Lando wasn’t satisfied. He typed back immediately: Think about what? Did I do something to upset you? Please, Y/N, talk to me.
Back in London, Y/N stared at his message, her chest tightening. She didn’t want to hurt him, but she wasn’t ready to confront her feelings—his or hers. She needed more time.
Lando opened his mouth to argue, but then stopped short. He had spent months hiding his feelings for Y/N, terrified of scaring her off, of ruining the connection they shared. But now, her sudden departure was making him question everything.
"Do you think she knows?" he asked quietly, his voice barely above a whisper.
Max frowned. "Knows what?"
"How I feel about her," Lando admitted, his gaze shifting away as if he were ashamed.
Max studied him for a moment before shrugging. "If she does, she hasn’t said anything to me. But maybe that’s the problem—you’ve been waiting for her to figure it out instead of telling her."
Lando’s jaw tightened at the suggestion. "And if I tell her and she doesn’t feel the same?"
"Then at least you’ll know," Max said simply. "But honestly, I think you’re underestimating her."
The next day, Lando couldn’t take it anymore. The cabin, with all its festive decorations and roaring fire, felt too big and too empty without Y/N. With no more time to waste, he grabbed his coat and car keys.
"Where are you going?" Max asked, looking up from his phone.
"London," Lando replied with quiet determination.
It was late afternoon by the time Lando arrived at Y/N’s flat. The crisp winter air stung his skin as he knocked on her door, nervous energy bubbling inside him.
The door opened, and there she was—her expression a mix of surprise and apprehension.
"Lando," she said softly, her voice tinged with uncertainty.
"You didn’t answer my calls," he said, his voice tight with emotion. "I needed to see you. I needed to know why you left."
She stepped aside, allowing him to enter. The warmth of her flat enveloped him, the scent of cinnamon and pine filling the air. They stood in the living room, the silence between them thick with unspoken words.
"Y/N, talk to me," Lando urged. "Did I do something? Did I say something?"
Her eyes filled with tears, and her voice trembled as she finally spoke. "I heard you, Lando. At the cabin, talking to Max."
His heart sank. "You... heard me?"
She nodded, her voice breaking. "You said you cared about me but couldn’t tell me because you thought I wouldn’t feel the same. That it was too complicated."
Lando closed his eyes in anguish. "Y/N, I didn’t mean for you to hear that."
"But you meant it," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper.
He stepped closer, his expression softening as he reached for her hands. "Of course I meant it. I care about you more than you know. But I didn’t say anything because I thought you’d pity me—or worse, push me away."
Y/N’s tears spilled over, and she wiped them away quickly. "Lando, I could never pity you. And I would never push you away."
His brows furrowed, searching her eyes for understanding. "Then why did you leave?"
"Because I didn’t know how to handle it," she admitted, her voice raw with emotion. "Hearing you doubt yourself—it scared me."
Lando gently took her hands in his, looking deeply into her eyes. "I’ve been scared, too. Scared of losing you, of ruining what we have. But I can’t keep hiding how I feel."
Her breath caught in her throat as his words sank in.
"I love you," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "I’ve loved you since the moment we met. And if you don’t feel the same, I’ll understand. But I couldn’t let you leave without telling you."
Tears streamed down her face as she looked up at him, her heart pounding. "I do feel the same," she whispered. "I’ve been in love with you, too. I just didn’t know how to say it."
A smile spread across his face as relief and joy flooded his chest. Without another word, he pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly. "You have no idea how long I’ve been waiting to hear that."
She smiled through her tears, resting her forehead against his. "I’m sorry for running. I should’ve just talked to you."
Lando held Y/N close, his heart racing as if it were a race day. For months, he’d rehearsed this moment in his mind, but nothing could have prepared him for the overwhelming relief and joy that came with hearing her say she loved him too.
"You don’t have to apologize," he murmured, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "I should’ve told you how I felt sooner. I was just too much of a coward to risk losing you."
Y/N pulled back slightly, her eyes meeting his with a soft vulnerability. "You’re not a coward, Lando. You’ve been so patient with me, and I’m sorry if I ever made you think I didn’t care."
"You didn’t," he assured her. "I just... I got in my own head. I do that sometimes."
She smiled gently, the tension finally starting to ease. "We’re both pretty good at overthinking, huh?"
"Clearly," he replied with a chuckle, his thumb brushing against the back of her hand. "But maybe we can work on that together?"
Y/N nodded, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. "I’d like that."
The air between them shifted again, quieter now, but no less intense. Lando’s gaze flickered to her lips, and for a moment, he hesitated.
"Can I kiss you?" he asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Her response was immediate—a shy but confident nod as she leaned in. Their lips met, soft and tentative at first, but quickly deepened as weeks of unspoken feelings spilled into the kiss. Lando’s hands slid to her waist, pulling her closer, while Y/N’s fingers tangled in his curls.
When they finally broke apart, both were breathless, their foreheads resting together.
"That was worth the wait," Lando said, his voice tinged with humor and awe.
Y/N laughed softly, her cheeks still flushed. "Yeah, it was."
Lando glanced around her cozy flat, the Christmas lights casting a warm glow over everything. "As much as I love this place, it feels like we’re missing out on our cabin Christmas."
Y/N frowned slightly, guilt creeping back in. "I’m sorry for leaving. I ruined the trip for everyone."
"Hey," he said firmly, cupping her face with both hands. "Don’t do that. No one blames you, least of all me. Besides," he added with a teasing smirk, "I rented that ridiculously fancy cabin for selfish reasons."
Her brows furrowed. "Selfish reasons?"
"Yeah," he admitted, leaning in closer. "I was hoping I’d get some time alone with you."
Y/N’s eyes widened slightly, and then she laughed, a sound that sent warmth flooding through him. "Well, I guess you got what you wanted in the end."
"Not quite everything," he said, his tone turning serious. "But I’m working on it."
By the following evening, they were back at the cabin. Y/N had been reluctant at first, but Lando insisted, saying he wanted to finish what they’d started.
As the car pulled up to the chalet, Y/N couldn’t help but gasp. Seeing it again, with its snow-covered roof and twinkling lights against the backdrop of the Alps, it felt like stepping into a postcard.
"It’s beautiful," she said softly.
Lando grinned as he grabbed their bags. "Wait until you see it at night."
Inside, the warmth of the fireplace welcomed them, and Y/N felt a wave of nostalgia for the short time she’d spent there.
"I didn’t unpack everything after you left," Lando admitted as he set her bag by the stairs. "Figured you’d be back."
Y/N turned to him, her heart aching at how much faith he’d had in her. "Thank you for not giving up on me."
"Never," he said simply, his eyes locking with hers.
They spent the evening decorating the tree, finishing what they’d started days ago. Lando playfully scolded Y/N for her questionable ornament placement, while she retaliated by draping tinsel over his head.
When the tree was finally done, they sat on the plush rug in front of the fire, a bottle of wine between them.
"This feels nice," Y/N said, her voice soft.
Lando leaned back on his hands, watching her intently. "It feels perfect."
Y/N glanced at him, her cheeks heating under his gaze. "You’re staring again."
"Can’t help it," he said with a small shrug. "You’re kind of my favorite thing to look at."
Her laughter was quiet but genuine. "You’re such a flirt."
"Only with you," he admitted, his tone earnest.
They fell into a comfortable silence, the crackling of the fire filling the space. Y/N sipped her wine, her mind wandering back to the moment she overheard him at the cabin.
"Lando?" she asked hesitantly.
"Yeah?"
"When you said it was complicated... What did you mean?"
He exhaled deeply, setting his glass down. "I meant that my life is messy. The travel, the attention, the pressure—it’s not easy, and I didn’t want to drag you into all of that if you weren’t ready. But I realized something after you left."
"What?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
"That none of it matters if I don’t have you," he said, his eyes shining with sincerity. "You make everything better, Y/N. And I’m done letting fear get in the way of that."
Her chest tightened, and she reached out to take his hand. "I don’t care about the mess, Lando. I just want you."
His smile was soft but filled with relief. "You’ve got me, then."
And as the fire burned low and the snow fell gently outside, they sat together, finally at peace. For the first time in a long time, everything felt right.
As the evening drew on, the crackling warmth from the fire grew more comforting, and the glow of the twinkling lights on the Christmas tree made the cabin feel like a perfect little world of their own. Lando and Y/N had fallen into a comfortable silence, the soft clink of their wine glasses and the occasional laugh over a shared memory keeping the air light.
Y/N leaned back against the soft rug, feeling the warmth of the fire seeping into her body, and caught herself glancing over at Lando. His attention was on the flames, but there was something different in his expression tonight—a vulnerability she hadn’t seen before. The weight of everything between them—the distance, the confusion, the undeniable connection—had been lifted, and what remained was something new. Something hopeful.
"Lando," she began, her voice just above a whisper, tentative, yet full of curiosity.
He turned toward her, his eyes still soft but intense, always making her heart beat a little faster. "Yeah?"
Y/N swallowed, the words feeling heavy on her tongue, unsure of how to articulate the depth of her thoughts. "I’ve been thinking about everything—the way things unfolded, the way I left, and how much I was running from us… from what was right in front of me."
Lando’s gaze softened even more, and he scooted closer to her, his hand brushing against hers before he stopped, as if asking for permission. She placed her hand in his, lacing their fingers together, the simple touch sending a jolt of warmth through her chest.
"You’re not the only one who was running," he murmured, his voice low and sincere. "I think I’ve been too scared of what we could be. Of messing it up. But now… with you here, everything feels right. And I can’t keep pretending it doesn’t."
Her heart fluttered at his words. "I was scared, too," she admitted softly, gazing into his eyes. "Scared that maybe I was just a distraction for you. That maybe I was too much for you, or that you wouldn’t feel the same. But I don’t want to feel like that anymore."
He smiled, and for the first time in a long time, it was a smile that reached his eyes—gentle, warm, full of promise. "I feel everything for you, Y/N. I just didn’t know how to show it. How to tell you, especially when I thought you might not feel the same."
Y/N looked down at their intertwined hands, feeling a tightness in her chest at the realization of just how much they had both been holding back. "I’m sorry for leaving like I did," she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. "I shouldn’t have run away. I just… I was so overwhelmed."
Lando lifted her chin gently with his fingers, his touch tender as he urged her to meet his gaze. "You don’t need to apologize," he said softly. "What matters now is that we’re here. Together. And we don’t have to hide from what we feel anymore."
For a long moment, they just stared at each other, the air thick with the weight of everything they hadn’t said before. There was something sacred about this moment, as though time had slowed, giving them space to let everything they had kept buried come to the surface.
And then, without warning, Y/N felt the rush of emotions she had been holding back for so long. She leaned in slowly, her eyes never leaving his, as if testing the waters, seeing if he would pull away. But he didn’t. Instead, he met her halfway, their lips brushing in a tentative kiss that was soft but filled with an intensity neither of them had expected. It was the kind of kiss that spoke of years of friendship, years of longing, of waiting for the right moment.
But when their lips finally met, it felt like the world had shifted. It wasn’t just about a kiss. It was about all the unspoken words, all the time they had spent pretending they didn’t care, when all along, they had been waiting for this very moment. The kiss deepened, slow and desperate, as though they were both trying to make up for lost time, to erase the doubt and the distance they had allowed to grow between them.
When they pulled apart, their foreheads rested together, and neither of them spoke for a while. The only sound was the soft crackle of the fire and the distant howling of the wind outside.
"Everything feels different now," Y/N whispered, her voice full of wonder.
Lando’s lips quirked up in a gentle smile. "Different in a good way?"
She nodded, her fingers tracing the lines of his palm. "In a way that makes everything else feel unimportant. Like nothing else matters but us."
"Yeah," he agreed, the weight of the words settling in. "I’ve spent so much time thinking about the future, about racing, about everything else. But in this moment, with you… I know what really matters. It’s you."
Y/N felt a warmth spread through her chest, her heart swelling with affection. "I’ve been thinking the same thing," she said, her voice soft but steady. "I was scared. But now that we’re here, I’m not afraid anymore."
Lando tilted his head, studying her face with an intensity that sent a rush of heat through her. "So, no more running?"
She shook her head, her smile gentle but full of certainty. "No more running."
Lando leaned in again, his lips capturing hers in another kiss—this one slow, full of everything they had been holding back. There was a tenderness in it, a promise that they would take this slow, that they would learn to navigate whatever was to come together. But more than that, it was a kiss filled with the knowledge that they were finally on the same page, finally together in a way they had always been meant to be.
As they broke apart, Lando reached for the bottle of wine and poured them both another glass, the soft clink of the glasses a gentle reminder that they had come a long way.
Y/N glanced out the window at the snowflakes gently falling from the sky, each one unique and fleeting, just like the moment they were sharing. "It’s beautiful out there," she said softly.
Lando turned to look as well, and for a moment, they were silent again, watching the world outside. But then he turned back to her, a playful glint in his eyes.
"Not as beautiful as you, though," he said with a grin.
Y/N rolled her eyes, but she couldn’t help the smile that tugged at her lips. "You’re such a flirt."
"Only with you," he replied, his voice low and teasing. He leaned in closer, his breath warm against her skin. "And I always will be."
Her heart raced at his words, her body feeling alive with the anticipation of everything that was unfolding between them. She leaned into him again, her lips brushing his, more sure of herself now than she had ever been.
And for the first time in a long time, she allowed herself to believe in the possibility of everything—the future, the love they had shared, and the love that was still waiting to be discovered between them.

the letters on your laptop’s keyboard are surely to start fading any time soon, but it’s worth it. especially right now. there’s yet to be a single time where you’ve felt this much inspiration in your entire career, so you refuse to let this go to waste. your eyes flicker to the notebook sitting next to you, information on the paper translating in your mind and being typed out into coherent sentences on the document.
you’re really proud of what you’ve written so far. you had your boyfriend read your unorganized thoughts you had set out for the plot and what not, and he thinks it’s good too. once your brain felt ready to start writing the real thing, your fingers were flying. you slipped your headphones on, essentially blocking out the entire world as you worked. you started when it was still light out, and you’ve only gotten up to use the bathroom, really. it’s dark now, and although he’s not working quite as hard, you can still sense your boyfriend moving around the house, making commentary as he pre records gaming content.
he’s left you alone so far. he’s not the type to nag you too much about taking care of yourself, especially when he’s already learnt his lesson about interrupting you when you have one of these moments of inspiration. not to mention he has times like this too, even if it was for something like a long term livestream. still, he treats you how he would want to be treated in the same situation. by that he means undisturbed… with the occasional interruption, of course. he likes to have his game time but if he isn’t filming he still wants to be with you.
your phone is on do not disturb, keeping wonwoo’s obnoxious friends and their instagram reel notifications from disturbing your work, so when a message notification dings through your headphones you know who it is.
won🖤: Are you almost done yet?
won🖤: I’ve finished recording.
you: no, sorry love :( i still have some left in me.
you: just a little more, okay?
won🖤: Just a little more. I try not to be that guy, but you really should stop soon. Eat something
you reacted with 👍
setting your phone down, you crack your knuckles with a sigh. you were reaching the end of your inspiration spark, so you really wanted to rush to get whatever you could in. it’s extremely rare that this happens, and you couldn’t stress it enough. you’ve got deadlines to meet, and for this to happen to you was literally perfect. you’re basically set, and might even be able to take a day off tomorrow.
you’ve gotten back onto your groove, putting the music on high while you work. you’re typing word after word, paragraph after paragraph flawlessly. everything you’ve been mapping out for weeks is finally coming to fruition, and it’s doing so perfectly. you’re so zoned in that you don’t notice when wonwoo comes in, only taking note of his presence when the weight shifts on the bed and his head lands on your shoulder.
you pause, pulling the headphones off your head. “do you need something?” you ask, hand instinctively coming to brush through his hair.
he looks up at you, and you’re sure he doesn’t notice the way he’s pouting. it’s rare that he’d be like that voluntarily. “how far are you? you’re almost done?”
“mm, i don’t think so.. sorry. i really need to make the most of this or else i’ll never get this finished.” you kiss the top of his head, and as soon as you put your hand back towards the keyboard he grabs it.
“you’ve been sitting here all day.”
“yeah, i noticed. but i’ll do just a little more, ‘kay?” you kiss his crown and return to work.
you finish the second to last plot point you had mapped out, and now you’re just revising what you done so far. even by your own standards you’ve done enough, and since wonwoo is indirectly begging you to spend time with him (in his own way) by clinging to your side, you suppose you can stop for now. it hasn’t even been that long and you can see him looking from his phone to you every three seconds. it’s cute really, how he’s trying so hard to be nonchalant about it when he wants to spend time with you so bad. every time he wants your attention, he sort of hovers around you and stares at you until you give it to him. he’ll never say it out loud, but he’s definitely going to be obvious about it in other ways.
you shut your computer and set it on the night stand, turning towards him fully. the corners of wonwoo’s mouth twitch as he tried to hold back his smile, but you know he’s happy that he’s won.
“you’re done now? are you gonna go back to work, or are you really done?” he asks, sitting up and readjusting his glasses.
you giggle at his cuteness, kissing his cheek. “yes, nonu. you’ve got my full, undivided attention now, ‘kay?”
he’s already up before you are, rambling about how excited he is to spend the rest of the night with you, even if it’s already late. he’s walking into the kitchen to make ramen for you, talking about eating it together while watching something, and then stopping to ponder about what to do after. you trail behind him, a smile on your face. your nonchalant, black cat boyfriend who uses very few words will throw it all out the window if it means getting your attention and keeping it for a good moment.

Couple weeks ago my friend sent me a link to @vaspider shop with their promotion for a buy one get one free on hot/cold packs:
Razz loves to spread the word about shops they buy from, especially small businesses or shops owned and operated by queer people. I did not need a popcorn scented heat pack, so I did not buy anything, but they did.
Tonight I got these messages:

Emails, you say? Let’s see…
I just want you guys to know that this last line, “after this interaction I can no longer in good conscience promote your work or buy from you,” is akin to burning your crops and salting your fields coming from Razz. They are the most polite person I know. They do not want to stir up trouble. Part of it is because, as a blind person, they have had to learn to be non-confrontational in order to protect themselves, but it’s also because Razz is just genuinely a kind hearted and understanding person.
They live off of disability and occasional commissions, but they use what little money they have to support small businesses and independent artists because they appreciate the quality as well as the work that goes into each item. You can see here that Raz was trying to figure out if it was a genuine misunderstanding on their part because they hadn’t read the site correctly.
They were not able to read the site correctly because they’re blind.
This isn’t really about a misunderstanding, or Razz wanting to get the other item. It’s about Vaspider immediately treating them with contempt when Razz sent an email asking what had gone wrong. Is it the businesses responsibility to eat the cost of shipping due to someone not being able to understand the terms of the sale? It’s certainly good business practice, but I think Razz would have understood if they had been told that it would cost the store too much for another item to be sent if Vaspider hadn’t been such an asshole about it.
Razz is, unfortunately, used to disappointment. They are used to having to struggle to navigate websites that are not made with people like them in mind. They are even, at this point, used to having to lose money on things due to brain damage suffered from being forced into a botched medical procedure last year. But that isn’t how they opened this conversation. They opened with, “I think something may have gone wrong, can you help me understand what happened? “
The way Vaspider treated my friend is disgusting. I hope that those of you reading this will take Vaspiders behavior in this exchange into account when you’re deciding where to spend your money. The next time that you see one of their posts, a link to their store, or receive an email about a sale, I hope that you remember these emails and recall how Vaspider treats people that they don’t think are important. I want you to think about whether the group of people that Vaspider considers to be worthless might include you.
I know that there are a lot of people willing to come to Vaspiders defense because they’re well-known and popular. They are so well-known and popular that they’re willing to treat one of their customers like garbage over $10 in shipping, and they’re willing to do it right out in the open for everyone to see.
Happy holidays, and eat a big old bag of dicks.
Let’s fucking go.

Stranger - C.S.
“Are you sure we haven’t met before?”
summary: it has been 4 months since you and chris broke up. you one day bump into each other at a party. sparks fly and things feel… different. was it you or him who changed?
warnings: SMUT, dom!chris, fem!reader, swearing, kissing, p in v, unprotected sex (please dont do this )
(p.s. i’ve never written smut before so please bear with me 😭)
you didn’t care for chris anymore. at least you thought you didn’t. you were having so much fun with your friends this saturday night. your black strapless mini dress riding up every now and then but you didn’t care. all that mattered was you and how much fun you were having.
you walked down the hallway when you saw nick. you guys were still close even after you and chris. but, if nick was here chris had to be here as well which made your stomach churn for some unknown reasons. you gave nick a hug and sprinted to the rest room to message your friend claire.
you: is chris anywhere out there????
claire: he’s in line for the bathroom
shit. you thought before texting her again
you: where in line…?
claire: up next….🧍♀️
“are you fucking kidding me” you mumbled, putting your phone away and fixing yourself in the mirror before opening the restroom door.
anytime you and chris were ever at the same function, gathering, or any public event that involved each other you guys acted like strangers. seemed like two people with no history, no connections, nothing. appearing from the mist and disappearing.
chris had no idea you were here until he saw claire staring at him and then typing on your phone. you had to be there somewhere. you both made eye contact when you opened the door. you tried walking away before he stopped you and whispered in your ear. “meet me here in 10 once this line clears up yeah?” you rolled your eyes “like hell i would.” “y’know you wan’ to.” “fuck you christopher.” you said before walking away. you hated him with all of your being. he might’ve ended it since he “cheated” on you but the truth is he kind of missed you. he never cheated but in the heat of the moment he went along with that stupid story. since that’s what you wanted to believe instead of him.
he still hated you as well. not being able to stand your stupid pretty face. he wanted to get at you. so thats what made him say to meet him in the restroom.
10 minutes later
chris: i dont have all day pretty girl hurry tf up
you: i already told you no fuck off
chris: get over here or im dragging your ass to me
you: whatever
you agreed to meet him at the bathroom. you had no idea why you did it but it felt right to accept.
you knocked on the door 5 times, it unlocked and opened 3 seconds later. chris had his black hoodie on which hid his wavy brown hair. he dragged you into the bathroom by the arm and proceeded to gently push you against the door once he closed it.
he eyed you up and down which made your cheeks tint a bright pink. “why- what do you want?” you stumbled feeling scared. “i just wanna get you to realize that i didn’t cheat” he grumbled getting closer to you.
your breath hitched, as his lips grazed your ear “i don’t get why the fuck you believed that stupid idiot. i didn’t cheat and you know it. but since you wanna play coy i can show you i didn’t in a different way” “w-what? no your not doing anything to me” “y’know you wan’ to tho”. you rolled your eyes. you did. he was the only person who knew what you liked and wanted and it wasn’t fun. he gently grabbed the side of your neck and pressed his lips to yours, which you leaned into.
things progressed which lead to you sitting on top of the sink counter. “please chris-” you whined “just tell me what ya want ma, i know you can”. “i need you please-” you whined again.
with that he grabbed you and placed you on your feet, flipping you over by the hips and pulled your ass up, bunching up your dress at your hips. he undid his belt and took of his black jeans and boxers. he pulled down your black lacy panties and proceeded to slap your ass which made you yelp. “i’ve always said you got a nice ass on you ma.” he muttered as he pumped himself with his free hand.
chris rubbed his tip against your folds before slowly pushing in, going in fully to let you bottom out. “mmmpf chris fuck-” you moaned feeling full. “so fuckin’ tight pretty girl”
he began to thrust in and out of you, his eyes stared at you through the mirror “you like this shit huh?” your eyes rolled back but you nodded. “i need words and i need you to look at me sweetheart.”
you moaned and squirmed as chris wraps his arm around your waist and dips his hand down to your clit. “mm, so good f’me fuck-” he praised, leaning down to kiss your neck and shoulders
“c-chris! fuck!-” you moaned, which made him slap your ass. “sweetheart you need to be quiet, this is a party not your house” he growled. he grabbed your hair into a makeshift ponytail, pulling your which made you arch your back, his tip kissing your cervix. “chris i cant ima-” you squealed, clenching around him. “you wanna cum ma? go ahead baby, wanna hear you scream it.” “thank you- chris! fuck oh my go-” you moaned loudly.
“your okay sweetheart i gotcha don’ worry.” he praised as you squeezed him, making him cum as well. stuffing you full.
he pulled out and cleaned himself up. sitting you on the cold marble of the bathroom counter and cleaning you up with wipes that were under the sink…you whined at the cold feeling “shh, i know pretty girl its okay… its all gonna be over in just a little okay?” “mhm..” you muttered, holding onto his shoulders. “you okay?” he asked kissing your cheek. “y-yeah….” you stuttered. “good. well i guess this is goodbye.” “wha-? what do you mean?” “you thought i was staying?? it was your decision to believe someone else before asking me and talking with me. so now im doing that to you. just in… different senses obviously.” he chuckled, before kissing your cheek “bye-bye pretty girl. love ya.” he said before leaving and closing the door to the bathroom.
great. back to strangers.

Basketball Player! Connie x Instagram Model! Black Oc
Summary: you being his number one biggest fan (🤭)
Contexts/Warnings: a short-long fic, modern, short smut, fluff, famous instagram model black oc (Aya), a well-known basketball player connie springer, etc.
Notes: i made this because i missed writing fics and stuff but keep in mind... this is my first time writing a fic on this app so don't expect it to be perfect in any way. (Im thinking about making a part two but idk. what yall think?)
Word Count: 1232
"GO CONNIE! YOU CAN DO THIS"
He heard his girlfriend's voice and smiled while playing basketball. Everything about her motivates him to do anything, and all thanks to Sasha for introducing them to each other.
Aya and Sasha are sitting at the bleachers watching Connie from a distance but Sasha is having a problem getting no responses or answers from her other best friend.
"Aya, have you heard from Mikasa lately? Like... she isn't answering my calls or texts and here I am asking you where she's at" Sasha gets annoyed at her phone and looks at Aya like she's finna throw a fit at her.
"No girl. I haven't but if you do please remind me because... I need her to help me out picking outfits to wear for my next photoshoot next week."
"Oh don't worry bestie, I'll let you know but thanks for trying though. Ugh! Mikasa needs to answer her phone these days" Sasha whines.
Aya giggles at her friend's complaints about her best friend. She receives a message from her mom telling her to call her little sister at 5:00. "Okay mama..." She rolls her eyes while liking her mom's message and putting her phone back in her purse.
(2 hours later) The game ends and Connie's team wins.
Aya runs up to her boyfriend and gives him the biggest hug yet.
"Baby I'm so proud of you" She kisses him as she says this.
"Thank you mamas. I love you princess." He smiled at her and they both walked to the door by the lockers where the boys can grab their things out of their lockers.
"I'll wait out here while you grab your things."
"Okay beautiful" He winks at her.
Aya was worried about everything, her mom, her friends, and especially her boyfriend. She thought about what would happen tomorrow since it was going to be a long day. She scrolls on her phone looking at her friends' and celebrities' posts, liking them as if she hasn't been active on there since three weeks ago after her last photoshoot. Connie comes back with his things and sneaks behind her to give her a hug and give her neck kisses.
"Hey love, I'm back and I also have a surprise for you at my house" He smirked, loving everything about her.
" Oh? A surprise? For me?" She giggles
"Yes for you mamas" He chuckled and grabbed her by her hand and they walked towards Sasha.
"You're so sweet, you know?" Aya looked at him with glee and kissed him on his cheek.
"Yes princess" He kissed her hand and smiled.
"OH SHIT HEY GUYS" Sasha looked at them and hugged them
"Yo sasha wassup" Connie hugged her back and they did their little signature handshake.
"Hey sash" Aya winked at her
"Oh my gosh. You guys are would never believe what just happened to me"
"What happened?" The couple looked at her confused and interested at what Sasha was going to say.
"So... this beautiful man came up to me and asked me out on a date and bro. When I tell yall, i was screaming. I WAS SCREAMING but not to loud" Sasha was smiling so hard and cheesy about this dream boy.
"Okayyy boo" Aya cheered for her
"Oh shit sasha has finally found her a guy" Connie laughs
"Okay... not too much" Sasha rolled her eyes and smacked him by his arm
"No but in all seriousness he better treat you right or ill beat the shit outta his ass. Like i don't fucking play that shit" Connie huffed.
"Connie, chill... it's fine" Sasha chuckled
Jean and Eren came by them after communicating with the team.
"Wassup guys" The boys came towards them
"Oh shit is that Aya??" Eren looked at her and hugged her
"Heyyyy renn" She hugged him while jokingly slapped the back of his head and ran behind connie from him.
"OW???" He looked so shocked to the point that he didn't even process what just happened to him.
"my bad" Aya laughed
The group walked to the parking lot and said goodbyes to each other.
"Hey babe?"
"Yes mamas?" He turned to look at her while walking to his car.
"So... this morning after you left, my mama called me about something and i wanted to ask you... are you available next week? Because I asked my boss if you would like to participate in my photo shoots?"
"Really??? Yes, pretty girl, anything for you" He kissed her and opened the door for her.
"Yayyy omg" She hugged and got inside his car.
Connie got inside the driver's seat, buckled up, and drove home. He grabs her thighs and squeezed them while focusing on the road. Aya groaned a bit and moved his hand between her legs, letting him do the work. He gets to the red light and looks at her while putting his hand inside her pants. She groaned a bit louder after he rubbed her cunt, looking at her and smirked.
"You like this huh mamas?" He winked at her and rubbed her cunt a little faster.
"Ngh... yes" She moaned.
The light turned green and before he drove home, he drove into an empty parking lot where nobody could see them.
He unbuckled his seatbelt, removing his hand from her beautiful cunt while letting her remove her seatbelt, and got on top of his lap.
They made out for 10 minutes and removed all their clothes off. They switched places and he began to devour her.
"f-fuck! connie.... a-ah!" She gripped his neck for support while her legs were around his shoulders.
"You taste so good mama... shit! i could do this all day with you princess" He kisses and licks her up until she cums. He devoured her for 5 minutes. He kissed her thighs and bit them giving her bite marks.
"c-connie.... oh! you f-feel... s-so good... ngh!" She looks at him with teary eyes while he fingers her.
"ngh... mamas... you look so damn gorgeous crying for me, fuck...!" He fingers her faster until she cums on his face.
"FUCK" She cummed all over him.
They sat back to their seats and heavily breathed for 5 minutes trying to get their breaths back.
"Hey pretty girl, when we get home ill run us some bath water and order pizza. okay?"
"Okay babe." She blew him a kiss.
Connie looked at his phone checking any messages his friends or family sent him. He received 100 messages from the gc, 20 messages from his mom, and 5 messages from Jean.
"Shit. That's alot of fucking messages" He sighed.
Aya giggled at him and put her clothes back on while he did the same. They drove home without saying a word to each other.
(20 minutes later)
"Hey princess, I got your surprise in the room. go look" He carried her inside the house and put her down on the floor to take their jackets and shoes off.
Aya walked to their room and saw flowers, chocolate, candles, two presents, and an envelope on their king sized bed.
"OMG!! FOR ME?? THANK YOU SO MUCH BABY" She hugged so hard and gave him face kisses.
"Yes babe everything is yours, who else would i give it too" He laughed and kissed her face.
"It doesn't matter. all i know is that this stuff is mines" She smiled and closed the door.

≪•◦ Words That Hurt ◦•≫
Synopsis: Basically my 'unspoken' fic with no happy ending, you and Rin argue, he goes too far and you... don't come back?
Warnings: [angst] [pre established relationship]
w.c 580
The argument had been ugly—worse than any you had before. Rin’s words had been cutting, cruel even, and you didn’t know how to react. You’d never seen him so cold.
“I don’t need you hovering over me all the time,” Rin snapped, his voice harsh and biting. “I can handle my own shit. I don’t need someone like you watching every step I take trying to coddle me like some emotional invalid"
The words sliced through you. You had tried, tried so damn hard to be there for him, but no matter what you did, it was never enough.
You had tried to argue back, but it was pointless. Nothing you said could break through the walls he’d built around himself.
Finally, feeling your chest tighten with a mixture of anger and hurt, you turned on your heel and stormed out of the apartment, not looking back. You didn’t care where you were going. You just needed to escape.
The world outside was dark and cold, but the chill in the air was nothing compared to the coldness that had settled inside you. You couldn’t bring yourself to go back. Not after everything he had said.
You walked aimlessly through the night, not caring about where you were going, just trying to numb the hurt. You eventually found a small hotel and checked in, knowing you couldn’t face him tonight.
That night, you lay awake, staring at the ceiling, the sting of his words echoing in your mind. He had hurt you. And yet, the deeper hurt was the realization that you couldn’t keep doing this. You couldn’t keep loving someone who kept pushing you away, no matter how hard you tried.
The next morning, as the sun rose and the city began to stir, your phone buzzed incessantly.
Rinnie <3
I’m sorry.
I didn’t mean it.
Please come home.
Each message, each attempt to apologize, made your stomach churn. You wanted to believe him, wanted to believe that he was truly sorry, but you weren’t sure anymore. Was this what you’d always get? Empty apologies after he hurt you?
He didn’t stop. The texts kept coming, one after the other, each more desperate than the last.
Rinnie <3
I can’t believe I said that. Please, I need you.
I don’t want to lose you.
I’m sorry. I was an idiot. Please don’t ignore me.
But you ignored him. You didn’t know how to face him. Didn’t know how to untangle the knot of hurt and confusion inside you. So you just left him on read.
The silence on your end was deafening to him, but you needed it. You needed the space.
Hours passed, and the messages kept coming. He started calling, his name flashing on your screen again and again. But you let the phone ring out. You couldn’t deal with him right now.
You didn’t want to hear his voice.
The day dragged on, and as the night fell once again, your phone lit up with another message from Rin.
Rinnie <3
I don’t know what else to say. Please just answer me.
I love you
Your chest tightened, and for a moment, you thought about picking up the phone. But then you remembered the hurt, the words that had cut deeper than anything else. You remembered how he always seemed to push you away when you tried to get too close.
So, you ignored him.
You weren’t sure what you were doing anymore, but you couldn’t make yourself go back.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays🎄☃️🎅🏻
Chan was with 3racha working on a song for their next comeback and you were alone in the dorm. You find ways to pass time. You clean any room that seemed remotely dirty and reorganized random books on the bookshelf. Looking at your phone hoping the time would go by faster yet nothing kept you occupied long enough.
You then get an idea.
You remember you had bought an outfit to surprise him with. You knew he would love it and wouldn’t be able to resist you, so you kept it hidden. Until now…
You went to your bedroom, fetched the box you hid in the back of the closet and opened the lid. You took out the red lingerie with matching thigh highs. You admired the soft material and started changing. Once changed, you walked over to the mirror next to the bed and smiled at yourself. The lingerie hugged your body perfectly. The sheer material with lacy detail left little to imagination.
Afterwards, you put on a little lipgloss and sat on the bed. You took a pillow, placed it in front of you and put your phone on it.
You go to your camera and set the timer. You do various poses, showing off the set. When you were satisfied, you sent them to Chan with the message “I miss you sir, please come home soon. I really need you” You wait for his response with a mischievous giggle.
Chan was in the studio trying to find lyrics when he felt his phone vibrate. Usually he'd ignore it but he thought that a little break might help his writer's block. He pulls it out and sees it’s a text from you.
He opens it and his eyes widen. He clears his throat and excused himself from the studio and went to the bathroom. He pulled up the pictures you sent again, smirking. He called you.
When you saw him calling, you smiled and answered, putting it on speaker. “Hey babe, how’s work going?” You asked innocently “Oh babygirl, I know what you’re doing” you giggled “I don’t know what you are talking about sir” he growled into the phone “watch it” you could tell you were getting to him so you push a little further. You slide your hand into your panties and moan at how wet you already were “Sir please? I need you, I’m already so wet for you.” You add a hint of tease in your tone. He groans a soft fuck, trying so hard to not pull his cock out and release right there in that bathroom. “You’re playing a dangerous game baby, you better watch it before I punish you”
You smiled to yourself, you had him right where you wanted him “maybe that’s what I want” the phone goes quiet for a few seconds before Chan replies in a deep lust filled voice “you just wait” With that he hangs up and heads back to the studio and starts packing his things.
“Hey everything ok?” Han asked and Changbin looked him slightly concerned. “Yeah I’m good but I gotta go… y/n needs… help. with… something? GottaGo!” Then he was out the door. Changbin and Han look at each other and just shake their heads and get back to work.
When Chan arrived at the dorms, he drop his stuff at the door. He instantly went to the bedroom where you were. He opens the door to see you laying there on the bed, in a sexy pose, looking back at him. He smirks and takes off his shirt. He walks to the bed and stops at the edge. You get on your knees in front of him on the bed. “Such a naughty girl, you really thought it was a good idea to tease me while I’m working?” “It seemed like you were enjoying” You giggled, continue your teasing. He grabs you by the throat and brings your ear to his mouth “you think this is funny? You better drop this teasing act before your punishment gets worse” you shiver and thought for a moment, wanting to keep this game going. You put on an innocent look and answered “I just wanted your attention sir” you drag your hand against his abs, biting your lower lip. He grabs your wrist with his free hand before you can get any lower. “And now you have it” He lets go of your throat with a growl and walks to the dresser across from the bed.
He pulls out a box from one of the drawers. He takes out rope and walks back over to the bed, you’re already in position. He smirks at your eagerness and he gets onto the bed, kneeling next to you. “Arms” you raised your arms up and he started tying the rope in a basic but pretty design up to your elbow.
He gets between your legs and hovers over you. He starts kissing you and his hands roaming your body. His kisses start making its way down your body. You moan as he starts going lower. You take your tied arms and grab his hair as he kisses your inner thigh. Chan moves away and slams your arms down over your head. “Who said you could touch me? You wanted to be a tease so your lost your privilege” you whine, realizing what the REAL punishment is.
“Now be a good girl and keep your arms there”
He starts taking the bottom of the lingerie off and admired your glistening pussy before him. “you look so beautiful babygirl, so wet” he takes his index and middle finger and drags it against your folds. Your fingers twitched trying to hold back from touching. He continues to move his fingers against you as he starts bringing his face closer. He starts with a lick to your clit and you tense at the pleasure. He feels you tense up so he lightly rubs your thigh.
He starts lapping at your folds and your hand goes to his hair, unable to stop yourself. He takes your wrists into his hand and continues licking and sucking your clit. He held your arms far enough where you couldn’t reach him even if you weren’t tied up. He pulls off your clit with a pop and looks up at you.
“What did I say about not touching me? You just don’t wanna listen today do you?” You mewl and squirm in his hold “No wait please I’m sorry. It was a reflex. I didn’t mean t-” He cuts you off by going back to your folds also plunging two fingers into you. He pumps at a fast pace while sucking your clit. You wriggle against him as the pleasure in the pit of your stomach builds rapidly. Your moans get louder and more high pitched as you feel your release approach.
When your legs started shaking, he knew you were close and removes his fingers and mouth. You whined as your high starts to die down. “No cumming yet baby, we’re just getting started”
He gets off the bed taking off his pants but leaving on his boxers, the tent very prominent. You eyes fall to his dick and your mouth starts watering. The wet spot in his boxers doesn’t go unnoticed along with the twitch when he realized you were staring. “My eyes are up here babygirl” he says with a smirk. You look up at him with doe-like eyes “Please I want it in my mouth” He groans at your response “Do you think you deserve it? Especially with how you were acting earlier?” You pout, knowing the right answer “No…” He hums at your response.
Chan unties the rope but still pins them down so you can’t touch him “You still can’t touch me baby, your punishment isn’t over yet” You whine loudly. He flips you onto your stomach and moves behind you. He pulls you up by your hips so your ass meets his bulge. He slowly rocks himself against you groaning at the friction. You feel him twitching against you and you whimper, trying to push back against him. He holds you hips in place and continues grinding against you faster, more precum building in his boxers.
“Please sir just fuck me already. I really need you please” he smirks and pulls down his boxers. He lines himself up to your entrance, but he doesn’t push in right away. “Hmmm, I don’t know if I should. Maybe I’ll just stay like this” “No no please, sir I wanna feel you so bad! I’ll be good please, no more teasing I really really want you” Chan groaned at your begs. He slams into you, you let out a scream. “Damn baby you feel so good, still so tight” Your eyes roll back as you moan at his words. You grip the sheets in front of you until your knuckles turn white. You mewl out his name as he groans at you clenching him, throwing his head back. His speed increasing the more you clench him.
He looks over to the side and sees the mirror across from the bed. Then an idea pops in his head. He moves you and places you facing the mirror. He grabs your hair and pulls you up to look at yourself. “Look at how fucked out you look on my cock” you whimper as you make eye contact with him and then yourself, taking in you disheveled appearance. He grabs your boobs and squeezes them as you fall apart underneath him. He plays with your nipples through the bra of the lingerie and you start clenching around him more. He groans and starts picking up more speed.
He starts thrusting harder getting close to his high. You start shaking getting close to yours too. “S-sir I’m gonna-“ he groans, not being able to hold back anymore. He flips you onto your back, continuing his rough pace “I wanna see your face while you cum for me” You grip the sheets next to you. He interlaced one of his hands into yours “you can touch me now baby” You wrap your free arm around his neck, pulling him into a kiss. “Cum for me babygirl” he moans against your lips. Your release crashes over you. Chan swallowing your screams as his hips stutter. He releases into you and you moan at the warmth of his cum painting your walls. You wrap your arms around his neck. “You took your punishment so well baby” You giggle into his neck as you come down from your high.
Chan pulls out if you and goes to the bathroom. He wets a rag and comes back into the room. He wipes you down then goes to the closet. He grabs one of his hoodies and puts it on you. He grabs boxers for himself and puts them on. He gets back on the bed and cuddles up with you. He kisses your forehead as you drift to sleep.
“You’ll never fail to get my attention babygirl”

From "Wall's Apart"
@merthurweek2024 Day Five: BAMF Merlin + Angst with a happy ending The look on Arthur's face when it had finally come out that night in the woods, when Merlin had used his magic to protect him so visibly, was seared into Merlin’s brain. The desperation and betrayal. The hurt and anguish. It had only gotten worse as Merlin told him everything about the things he had done, Arthur's father and freeing the dragon included.
“You didn’t trust me.” The words had cut into Merlin like a dagger. No assurances that he planned to tell him eventually would have helped. So Merlin did not try. “You shared my bed, but never thought to trust me!” Arthur’s eyes were filled with betrayal. “I need time,” he had said. “I cannot believe you didn’t trust me, Merlin… I’ve shown you all of me from the beginning… but you did not.”
Merlin lay down on his bed and squeezed his eyes shut, trying to hold fast against the pain and regret. Arthur would not forgive him for this. It had been about a week, and Arthur had shown no signs of forgiveness. Accepting that things were over was better than hoping in vain, right?
Merlin still hoped for it, though. He hoped for it desperately, down to the deepest reaches of his soul. No matter how much he tried to make himself accept the new reality. some part of him always hoped they would get past this.
He must have fallen asleep, because he woke the next morning hoping that the reality of what he had done had been a dream. If it was, he would tell Arthur immediately to stop that dream from EVER coming true. But no, he was in his bed in Gaius’s room, not in the bed he had, until recently, shared with Arthur. There was no escaping this reality where he had caused the other half of his heart so much pain. He expected he would never know Arthur’s touch and intimate trust again.
But then, sudden hope. A message. Arthur wanted to ride in the forest with him. Merlin could have danced. Alright, sure, Arthur had not made the simple trip to Gaius’s chambers and just sent a messenger. But it came down to the same thing.

Consequences | Arthur Hill
Arthur and I had been together for a year. We had that kind of relationship that felt easy—built on laughter, trust, and shared traditions. One of Arthur’s quirks was his love for “splitting the G,” a Guinness drinking game where you try to drink the pint down to the middle of the golden “G” in the Guinness logo. It was silly, but it was his thing, and I adored him for it.
When he told me he was going on a boys’ holiday with George and Chris, I didn’t think twice. He updated me every day like clockwork—photos of beaches, beers, and their latest adventures. It felt like he was keeping me close, even from miles away.
Until the last night.
That night, the updates stopped. I told myself it was fine—maybe they’d just gotten carried away with their final hurrah. But then I saw the Instagram post.
A girl I didn’t know had tagged him in a photo. The two of them were standing close, her arm slung over his shoulder, grinning at the camera. The caption read:
“Met this guy and he taught me how he splits the G, many ways than one.”
The words hit me like a slap. I knew what “splitting the G” meant to Arthur, but what was the “other G” she was talking about? My stomach churned as I scrolled through the comments. People were laughing, teasing her, and dropping winking emojis. Arthur hadn’t liked or commented on the photo, but that did nothing to stop the flood of doubt and betrayal coursing through me.
I waited for him to text, to call, to explain. But there was only silence.
Arthur returned home two days later, dragging his suitcase into the hallway with a weariness I hadn’t seen before.
“Hey,” he said, his voice low.
“Hi.” I tried to sound normal, but my heart was already racing.
He was distant, avoiding my gaze, and his usual warmth felt replaced by something colder. I asked him about the trip, but his answers were short and guarded.
“It was fine.”
“Yeah, we had fun.”
“Nothing crazy happened.”
It didn’t feel right. He was hiding something, and I couldn’t take it anymore.
“Arthur,” I said finally, “I saw the photo.”
His entire body stiffened. “What photo?”
“You know what photo. The one with that girl. She said you taught her how to ‘split the G, many ways than one.’ What does that mean?”
For a moment, he just stared at me, his face pale. Then he sank onto the edge of the couch, running his hands through his hair.
“I messed up,” he said quietly.
“What do you mean?” My voice cracked.
“I was drunk,” he began, his words spilling out in a rush. “We were playing drinking games at the bar, and she joined in. We were laughing, talking, and then… she kissed me. I didn’t stop her. I should have, but I didn’t. It didn’t go further than that, I swear, but I know I messed up.”
My heart sank. The image of them together, the way he looked at her in that photo, it all felt like a dagger to my chest.
“She kissed you? Just like that?” I demanded, my voice rising.
“I was drunk, and I let it happen,” he admitted. “But it didn’t mean anything. It was a mistake. Please, believe me.”
I stared at him, my mind racing. The man I trusted, the man I loved, had let this happen. How could I ever look at him the same way again?
I slept in the spare bedroom that night. I couldn't bear to sleep or even look at Arthur.
The next morning, I packed my things. Arthur hovered around me, desperate and pleading, but I couldn’t stay.
“I love you,” he said, his voice breaking. “Please don’t go. It was one mistake.”
“One mistake is all it takes,” I said, tears streaming down my face.
And then I walked out.
For weeks, Arthur tried everything to win me back. He sent flowers, texts, and letters filled with apologies.
“I know I hurt you,” one message read. “But please don’t let this destroy us. You’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”
Another said, “I’m not giving up on us. You mean too much to me.”
Each gift, each message, felt like salt in the wound. I didn’t respond. I needed space, time to figure out what I wanted.
Then, one day, a small package arrived. Inside was a single notebook. On the first page, Arthur had written:
“Our Story: The Reasons I Fell in Love With You.”
Every page was filled with memories. The way we met, the time I surprised him with his favorite concert tickets, the night we stayed up talking until sunrise. He’d written about the way I laugh, the way I scrunch my nose when I’m annoyed, and how I always leave notes in his lunchbox.
At the end, he wrote:
“I know I broke your trust, and I might not deserve another chance. But I want to spend the rest of my life making this up to you, proving that I’m the man you fell in love with. Please, let me try."
I closed the notebook, my hands trembling.
For the first time in weeks, I let myself imagine a future where we could work through this. Where we could rebuild.
I wasn’t sure if I was ready to forgive him. But for the first time, I thought… maybe I could try.

Green is not your color
It has been five months since the battle with Wen Zongyu concluded. The emperor has disbanded the Chongwu camp and let the Demon Hunting Bureau take over the concerns with demons. The city of Tiandu is once again at peace. The only person who is not in peace is Zhuo Yichen.
"Pacing back and forth will not resolve your problem, Xiao Zhou. You have been restless since Zhao Yuanzhou left with Li Lun," Wen Xiao said, not taking her eyes off the book she is reading.
The great demon Zhao Yuanzhou left Tiandu to go back to the Wilderness with Li Lun. He informed Zhuo Yichen that they just need to fix something, and then he will come back. That was five months ago, and Zhuo Yichen can't help but worry. He knows that Yuanzhou can defend himself, but he does not trust Li Lun.
"I don't trust that demon at all! All of a sudden he wanted to help after trying many times to kill Zhao Yuanzhou. Are you not worried at all?" Zhuo Yichen asks the Baize goddess. Wen Xiao exhaled deeply and looked at Yichen.
"Zhao Yuanzhou can take on Li Lun. Besides, didn't he promise you that he will come back? Don't you trust him?"
"I trust him, but when will he come back? 500 years from now?" Yichen sighed deeply and took a seat on the table near Wen Xiao.
Wen Xiao understood Zhou Yichen's dilemma. He is scared to lose Zhao Yuanzhou. He may not verbally say it, but his actions say it all. She doesn't quite understand why her childhood friend refuses to admit his feelings to the great demon. It is evident that their feelings are mutual.
"You can go to the wilderness if you want, Xiao Zhou. You know where Li Lun also resides. I'm sure they are just around there."
"He can stay wherever he is right now if he does not come back this month. I will personally make sure he cannot enter the building." Zhuo Yichen walks away from the Archives and leaves a chuckling Wen Xiao behind.
Another month passed and still no signs of the great demon. Zhuo Yichen already informed every guard to never let Zhao Yuanzhou enter the building. He even asked Ying Lei for a spell to barricade the Demon Hunting Bureau. Wen Xiao and Pei Sijing just laugh at their commander's actions.
Unbeknownst to Zhuo Yichen, Wen Xiao keeps tabs with the great demon through Li Lun. Li Lun sends messages using his pagoda leaf to the Baize goddess. Zhao Yuanzhou knew what was happening in the Demon Hunting Bureau, especially concerning Zhuo Yichen.
"Don't you think it's wise to let him know that you are in touch with Zhao Yuanzhou? He is going crazy. I don't think he will hesitate now to kill that demon." Wen Xiao laughs at Pei Sijing's comment. The goddess shakes her head.
"Zhao Yuanzhou will come back tomorrow. Let us see what will happen then."
Before the sun even rises the next day, Zhuo Yichen is already prepared for the day. His anxiousness for the comeback of the ape demon is going nowhere. He has decided to personally drag the demon back himself. Zhuo Yichen is also a demon, and he can fight Li Lun if he ever decides to stop him.
"Xiao Zhou daren, the carriage is waiting outside." Yichen nodded at the attendant and walked his way to the huge doors of the bureau. Unaware that the demon he wishes to drag is already outside the barrier of the building.
"He really did it," Zhao Yuanzhou said while Li Lun crossed his arms on his chest as they looked at the barrier that surrounds the Demon Hunting Bureau.
"Why did you like that man again?" Li Lun asked, which earned a glare from the ape demon.
"Xiao Zhou does not make such decisions unless I piss him off big time," Zhao Yuanzhou exhaled deeply. He is now nervous to see the demon hunter turned demon.
"Be ready for a sword in your chest then," Li Lun remarked while he worked on breaking the barrier. In an instant, the barrier opened, which alarmed the rest of the Demon Hunting Bureau members, including Zhuo Yichen.
All the members, including the main group, run towards the doors of the building; they await for the intruders to enter as they prepare for the counterattack. Zhuo Yichen, who was in the middle of the form, unsheathes his Cloud Light sword.
The two great demons enter the building casually while the Demon Hunting Bureau stands down. They all exhaled in relief, knowing it was just Zhao Yuanzhou and Li Lun. What happened next shocked them all.
Zhuo Yichen saw the two demons enter the building, which already made his blood boil in anger. He runs towards the two demons, specifically Zhao Yuanzhou, and attacks him. Good thing the ape demon already expected this attack and defended himself by twisting Yichen's arm around his back.
"Let me explain, Xiao Zhou," Yuanzhou whispered in Yichen's ear, which angered the latter more. Zhuo Yichen attacks are sloppy, which Zhao Yuanzhou noticed. He is too driven by his emotions to think clearly of his next moves. What he cares about is to pierce the great demon with his sword.
"Listen to me, Zhuo Yichen!" Zhao Yuanzhou sternly said, but Yichen keeps on attacking him.
The fight, or rather Yichen's tantrum, lasted for another few minutes before Yuanzhou pierced himself with the Cloud Light sword. Zhuo Yichen looks at him with tears brimming in his eyes. Yuanzhou's heart breaks seeing him shed tears for him yet again.
"Can we now talk?"
Zhuo Yichen pulls the sword from Yuanzhou's chest and walks away. His tears streaming down his face as he headed back to his quarters. His heart aches seeing them together while he suffers being away from the great demon. He wanted to hurt him so badly, which is why he attacked him.
"That was intense, I must say," Li Lun commented, showing up from the corner. Zhao Yuanzhou checked his surroundings and saw them empty.
"The goddess asked them to leave. They also left so you two can talk," Li Lun added.
"Now, I have to tame one furious baby dragon."
Zhao Yuanzhou knows Zhuo Yichen went back to his quarters. One attendant informed him that the commander asked for tea to be delivered in his room. Before he can fully enter, Zhou Yichen throws a cup of tea at him, which Yuanzhou was able to dodge.
"Leave."
"You already thrown quite a tantrum back there, Xiao Zhou. Don't you think I deserve to be heard now? I promised I would come back, and I did," Zhao Yuanzhou calmly said as he sat in front of Zhuo Yichen. He pours himself a cup of tea as well while Yichen looks the other way.
"I had to help Li Lun with his cultivation since he almost died battling Wen Zongyu. His cultivation was disrupted when he joined the fight."
Zhao Yuanzhou started to explain, but Zhuo Yichen already hates what he is hearing. His mind is going haywire thinking about the possible ways to help a demon cultivate. What the two had done to help Li Lun speed up the cultivation. His hold on the cup tightens, which shatters it in a minute. Blood started oozing out of his hand because of the cut, but Yichen was not bothered by it. His jealousy is getting the best of him right now.
Zhao Yuanzhou immediately takes his hand to heal it, but Yichen pulls away. Zhuo Yichen heals himself and pours himself another cup of tea. Yuanzhou finally realizes what his Xiao Zhou might be thinking.
"We did not do anything if that is what you are thinking. I swear on my life that I simply help him or rather teach him ways to cultivate faster. You are the only person I would dual cultivate with. No one else."
Zhuo Yichen finally looks at Zhao Yuanzhou. The great demon can see the redness of Yichen's ear, which made him smile. Yuanzhou stands up and sits behind Zhuo Yichen, then pulls the young demon to lean on his chest. Yichen is now sitting on Yuanzhou's lap.
"Green does not suit you, Yichen. I like the color blue more." Yuanzhou teases his jealous baby dragon. Yichen slaps his hand on his waist as a response.
"You have been with Li Lun for months. Don't blame me for thinking that you... whatever that is. You were friends before we did. You know each other so much that you even used it against each other before." Zhuo Yichen hates to admit that he is jealous every time he sees them together. He knew that the two demons knew each other well. He cannot compete with Li Lun on how much he knows of Zhao Yuanzhou.
"Li Lun will always be a friend. Only friends, nothing more. You, on the other hand, are my beloved baby dragon." Yichen slapped his hand again, causing Yuanzhou to chuckle.
"I promised to not leave your side for the rest of our lives, Zhuo Yichen. If I can stick myself to you then I would. I just hope you will not get tired of this handsome face." Yichen sits up and turns around to face Zhao Yuanzhou. His hands caress the great demon's face.
"Never. You are stuck with me whether you like it or not." Zhao Yuanzhou smiled as he leans in to kiss Zhuo Yichen. Yichen gladly responds as he wraps his arms around Yuanzhou's neck.
The innocent kiss turns into a passionate and heated one. Words are no longer important between them. They would rather share a passionate night, pleasuring one another to feel each other's love. A love they would share for the rest of their lives.

The next message you need is right where you are
May 27, 1993
Quote from Ram Dass (Richard Alpert) in the margin of page 37 from the book "As Above So Below".
“The next message you need is right where you are.”
I wrote my take on this quote below it in the margin:
“What this says to me:
Reality.
As much as possible, see it as is.
I like the words non judgemental and non expectant.
The formulas and the figures of your landscape then begin to come into view”

Your idea that a character has to self flagellate themselves and grovel and become meek to be redeemed and loved is very Christian coded and extremely boring
#messages from knave#wheres the spice#you also dont see this bullshit in anime fandoms because no one who watched dragon ball is holding anyone up to ZUKO for comparison#not after all that weird bullshit my man piccolo did#him dykng was NOT redemption it was a PLOT OBSTACLE!!!#Im not into the idea of groveling for redemption lmao sorry#i don't find that cathartic#if a character thought that they were right and good their whole life and then they spend the next season and a half#not challenging a single person or standing up for themsevles or asserting their growth at all in the narrative then that's boring and#manipulative to me. i feel like the author is manipulating me#LOOK ME IN THE EYES.#if you need all of your blorbos to be forgiveable in order to be enjoyable then you are BORING#if you require someone to besase themselves to earn your forgiveness then you're kind of an ASSHOLE#i don't need a babygirl to grovel i just need him to justify himself

Choosing the Right Banner Stand for Your Next Trade Show or Event
When it comes to showcasing your business at a trade show or marketing event, the display you choose plays a vital role in attracting attention and engaging potential clients. Among the various display options available, banner stands stand out as an effective, versatile, and cost-efficient solution. Whether you're a first-time exhibitor or a seasoned pro, selecting the right banner stand can make all the difference in achieving a successful event.
In this article, we will explore the key advantages of choosing the right banner stand for your next trade show or event and how it can elevate your marketing efforts.
1. Portability and Easy Setup
One of the most significant advantages of Banner Stand is their portability. Designed to be lightweight and easy to transport, banner stands are perfect for businesses that need to set up quickly and move between different events. Many models come with a convenient carrying case, making it simple to pack up and head to the next exhibition without hassle.
Key Benefit: You can set up and dismantle your banner stand in minutes, ensuring minimal time is spent on logistics and more time engaging with attendees.
2. Compact and Space-Efficient
Banner stands are perfect for booths or spaces where you need to make a visual impact without taking up too much room. Their slim and vertical design allows for maximum visibility while keeping your booth neat and organized. Whether you need a banner for a small corner of your exhibition or a large backdrop for a prominent display, banner stands come in a range of sizes, including compact models that fit into smaller spaces.
Key Benefit: Banner stands offer a professional look without crowding your display area, helping to create a clean and spacious presentation.
3. High-Quality, Customizable Graphics
Your banner stand serves as a canvas for your brand message, so the quality of the graphics is essential. High-resolution graphics printed on durable materials ensure that your brand, logo, and messaging stand out. Banner stands can be fully customized to match your brand’s colors, fonts, and design elements, making it easier for you to create a cohesive look across all your marketing materials.
Key Benefit: Customizable banners ensure your messaging is consistent and visually appealing, reinforcing your brand identity and making a lasting impression on event attendees.
4. Cost-Effective Marketing Tool
Compared to other types of displays and exhibition equipment, banner stands are a budget-friendly solution without compromising on quality or effectiveness. Whether you’re hosting a one-time event or attending multiple trade shows throughout the year, banner stands offer a cost-efficient way to get your message across. Their durability and reusability mean that they can be used for many events, saving you money in the long run.
Key Benefit: Banner stands provide a high return on investment, offering affordable, reusable marketing tools for ongoing promotions.
5. Versatile Display Options
Banner stands come in a variety of styles, from simple retractable banners to more advanced modular systems. You can choose from single-sided or double-sided stands depending on your space and visibility needs. Double-sided banners are ideal for locations with heavy foot traffic, allowing your message to be seen from multiple angles. Additionally, you can opt for different sizes, from compact models to large banners, ensuring your display meets your specific event requirements.
Key Benefit: The wide range of display options ensures you can choose the best banner stand for your specific needs, whether you need a simple promotional display or a more elaborate exhibition setup.
6. Durable and Long-Lasting
When selecting a banner stand, durability is key. The best banner stands are made from sturdy, recyclable materials such as aluminum, ensuring they can withstand the wear and tear of frequent use. Quality banners are also printed on durable fabrics or vinyl that resist fading, curling, and damage, ensuring that your stand looks professional for many events to come. Some banner stands even come with warranties, adding an extra layer of assurance that your display will last.
Key Benefit: Durable materials and long-lasting design ensure that your banner stand maintains its quality appearance over time, providing you with a reliable marketing tool.
7. High Visibility and Impact
The primary purpose of any banner stand is to capture the attention of potential customers and clients. With large, visually striking graphics, banner stands are perfect for standing out in crowded trade show halls, conferences, and promotional events. Their vertical design and high-quality materials allow your messaging to be seen from a distance, ensuring that your booth grabs attention as people walk by.
Key Benefit: Banner stands are designed to be eye-catching, helping your brand stand out and attract the right audience at busy events.
8. Eco-Friendly Options
As sustainability becomes increasingly important, many banner stands now come with eco-friendly features. Recyclable aluminum frames and eco-friendly printing options, such as solvent-free inks, ensure your display aligns with your environmental values. Choosing sustainable materials not only helps the planet but also enhances your company’s green image, which can resonate well with attendees who value sustainability.
Key Benefit: Eco-friendly banner stands allow you to promote your business in an environmentally responsible way, appealing to conscious consumers and reducing your ecological footprint.
Conclusion
Choosing the right banner stand for your next trade show or event can significantly enhance your marketing strategy. From portability and easy setup to customizable graphics and cost-effectiveness, banner stands offer numerous benefits that can help your business stand out and leave a lasting impression on your audience. With so many options available, there’s a banner stand solution for every event and marketing need. Investing in the right one ensures that your display will make a strong visual impact, draw attention, and effectively communicate your brand’s message.

If youtube is getting past ublock origin and demanding that you turn off your adblocker, here is a solution from reddit which worked for me: https://old.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/comments/1hir4z6/youtube_filtering_again/m30vhjh/ After you uncheck the "ublock filters - quickfixes" box, make sure to also click "apply changes."
if you recheck the "ublock filters - quickfixes" box and click "apply changes," youtube will be able to detect the adblocker again, so i guess for now don't do that.
Edit from one day later:
They removed the comment, here are the steps they gave: 1. Open uBlock Origin's settings. I click on the shield to the right of the url bar and then on the gear icon in the popup menu to get there.
2. Go to the "Filter lists" tab of the settings page. Not "My filters."
3. Find where it says "Built-in," underneath that it should say " "uBlock filters" with a number out of five. Next to that "x/5," there should be an arrow either facing to the right or downwards. If it's facing to the right, click it so it faces downwards and expands the list of Built-in filters.
4. In that list, you will find "uBlock filters - Quick fixes." Uncheck the box to the left of these words. When the box is unchecked, click "Apply changes" at the top of the page. Refresh any pages where youtube was whining about your adblocker, hopefully the message is gone and you're able to watch without any ads.
Yesterday when I first posted this, reactivating the quickfixes allowed youtube to detect the adblocker, but as of today it looks like they've updated the quick fixes so that you don't need to deactivate them to avoid youtube's detection. So, instead of deactivating and reactivating the quick fixes, you can probably just manually update them by clicking the clock icon to the right of where it says "quick fixes"
